...RED CLOUDS MAKE WAY FOR THE DARK...

Playing catch ups...
Lately I have had little to no urge to do anything about my blog...
So out of obligation more than interest - this is a catch up type post
Here is some stuff that i have done...

I shall start with the newer stuff - then work my way back..

Here you can see 2 'Interpretive Portraits' of my very lovely younger sister
I have been meaing to do more 'real life' portrait work...but always end up just scrawling out some made up hoo har...so it was nice being able to unravel some ideas about how i see my younger sister.
The one on the right, I did 1st - It was more of a 'love song' about her -
I thought about how when we were younger + how we used to be pretty much inseperable
She lives a couple of hours away from me + that bothers me immensly
The pic on the Left...is an done whilst thinking about when she was bitten quite badly by a dog when we were little kids...
It's more of a warrior interpretation of her
I have started the 3rd one, as i plan on doing 5 portraits in total of her.

There is a thing called Drink + Draw that has been going on for a little while now + i finally made it to one of them- It's not a big group yet, but it will be

I did an interview for The Paper Cuts Collective with Jackie Ryan of Burger Force

Below - There were visiting times too...had one of my sisters Squidlings come + stay
We visited the Forest Moon of Endor..i showed her where the Ewoks live...

Below - visit to mumsies - Breakfast cooked by mumsie herself  - On the right...storm action on the way home

 

I also fell over + bumped my chin quite badly...So i had a nice big scab on my chin for Free Comic Book Day
